As you will see by my photographs, I specialize in 12-strip mortised butt rods made with exotic hardwoods and cast bronze hardware. I make each rod as unique as its owner. Rods are custom built with a lead-time of six to eighteen months, depending on requests and complexity.

Each mortised rod comes in a hardwood form fit case with a hand sewn leather scabbard. Each form case is made out of the same hardwood as the mortise strips in the rod. The form case is inlaid with antique scrimshawed ivory and semi precious stones.
